Il Prof. Luca Frulloni si è laureato presso l'Università di Perugia, specializzato in Gastroenterologia ed Endoscopia Digestiva presso l'Università di Veorna, ed ha conseguito un Dottorato di Ricerca presso l'Università di Padova.
L'attività di ricerca si è svolta soprattutto nel campo delle malattie infiammatorie e neoplastiche del pancreas. E' socio di numerose società scientifiche nazionali ed internazionali. E' stato Presidente dell'Associazione Italiana per lo Studio del Pancreas dal 2017 al 2020. Dal 2023 è Presidente della Società Italiana di Gastroenterologia ed Endsocopia Digestiva (SIGE).
