Director of the Urological Clinic and the School of Urology at the University of Verona. He is a member of several scientific societies (EAU, ICS, Société Internationale d'Urologie, AUA, SIU, SIUD). He has been President of SIUD and EBU. He was a member of the scientific committee of the EAU and EBU. He was president of the Regulatory Affairs Office of the EAU and of the scientific committee of the ICS. He was Secretary General of the ICS and Deputy Secretary-General of the UAE, responsible for the scientific aspect. He is currently secretary general of the SIU (2018-2021). His main interest is functional urology and reconstructive surgery. In 1987 he developed the “Vescica Ileale Padovana”. 2005 he deals with robotic surgery in Urology. He published 375 papers in international peer-reviewed journal (H index: 50). He is involved in several national and international research trials.
