Giuseppe Verlato was born in 1958. He graduated in Medicine in 1982, and specialized in Health Statistics in 1995. He has been member of the Executive Committeee of Italian Full Professors of Medical Statistics from October 2017 until September 2021.
He is delegate for Quality Assurance for the Departmento of Diagnostics and Public Health, and Director of the Residency Program in Health Statistics & Biometry of Verona University.
He coordinates the Italian multicentre study GEIRD (Gene-Environment Interaction in Respiratory Diseases). He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the GIRCG (Italian Research Group for Gastric Cancer), the Italian associate of the International Gastric Cancer Association.
He is Chairman of the Local Ethics Committee of Trento, Italy.
