Specialization in Allergology on 15.07.1983, in Physiology and Diseases of the Respiratory System on 12.07.1988 at the University of Padua;
in Endocrinology in 1991 and in Occupational Medicine on 19.10.1999 at the University of Verona.
In particular, he deals with epidemiology, diagnosis and therapy of respiratory allergic diseases in the environment, through the monitoring of pollen in the Verona air, and professionally having studied a cohort of Verona bakers for the identification of sensitization and the onset of allergic diseases respiratory with flour and enzymes,

Member of the “Occupation” and “Indoor” study groups of the epidemiological survey on respiratory disorders in the general population (European Community Respiratory Health Survey).
Member of the national Aerobiology network of the AAITO scientific society as head of the Verona sampling center. Pollen data are available on the Verona AOUI portal.
Member of the Steering Committee of "The GEIRD Study Group" (Gene Environment Interactions in Respiratory Disorders) and Head of the Occupational Group of the GEIRD project
