The main scientific interests of her research group are aimed to characterize:
· the phenotype and the immunoregulatory properties of mature and immature neutrophils from G-CSF-mobilized peripheral blood stem cell (PBSC);
· the role of mouse and human neutrophils in tumors. Particular interest has been directed at determining the mechanisms that regulate the immunoregulatory properties of these cells toward T lymphocytes;
. the role of mouse and human of myeloid cells, in particular monocytes and neutrophils, in autoimmune diseases, including lupus and psoriasis.

|inflammation||Studies on the mechanisms utilized by innate immune cells to modulate inflammatory and immune responses. In particular, the studies are focused in gaining new insights on the role of neutrophils and monocyte/macrophages in autoimmune diseases and cancer.||Immunology|
