Syllabus

Discussion of clinical cases of the most frequent pathology in the geriatric patient: respiratory failure and interpretation of blood gas analysis and the genesis and treatment of the leading clinical pictures. Differential diagnosis of the main pathologies of the elderly. Elements of scientific research in the geriatric and gerontological field.

Assessment methods and criteria

Multiple choice questions and interpretation of blood gas analysis.
