Understanding the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms of gene regulation in monogenic and multifactorial diseases. Interpretation of family trees.

Syllabus

Clinical cases and molecular genetic aspects of Huntington's disease and Martin Bell's disease. Atypical mechanisms of inheritance (triplet expansion, mitochondrial inheritance).
