Learning outcomes

Knowledge of laboratory methods for the detection of leukemic diseases, with particular emphasis on cytofluorimetric techniques.

Syllabus

The role of laboratory in diagnostic classification of leukemic diseases (morphology, cytogenetics, immunophenotype, molecular biology, immunohistology).
Flow cytometry applied to immunophenotyping.
Cytofluorimetric analysis of normal blood and bone marrow.
Cytofluorimetric analysis of some leukemic diseases.
