Overview
The Masters in Advanced Nursing for Critical Care is offered by the University of Verona in conjunction with the Integrated University Hospital Establishment of Verona. It aims to train nurses to manage complex care for critical patients in different contexts in the healthcare system: critical care services, intensive care structures, patients with vitally critical or unstable conditions and situations requiring complex approaches and care. These are areas in which advanced nursing skills require not only by professional and technical abilities, but also careful attention to communication and relationships with the patient and their family – an area in which ethical values are also essential. The Masters programme therefore not only addresses professional aims but also the caring aspect, thus giving recognition to developing relevant global skills.
