Summary

Recently the sense of smell gained significant attention, especially after the SARSCoV- 2 pandemic. Olfactory deficit has implications in various aspects of the daily life, including environment toxic detection, social and emotional sphere. Despite that, unlike the visual, auditory, or somatosensory modalities, olfactory system investigation using human electrophysiological methods, such as olfactory eventrelated potentials (OERPs), has received little attention from the scientific or clinical community.
Professor Thomas Hummel, a well-known worldwide scientist expert in this field, will talk about olfactometry and OERPs in clinic and research.
