Sleep disordered breathing in children The research activity is aimed to characterize respiratory sleep disorders in children with adeno-tonsillar hyperplasia, obesity, and cranio-facial dysmorphisms in complex genetic syndromes. The main tool are cardio-respiratory polysomnography (limited channels) and full polysomnography. The activity is carried out in collaboration with other specialists such as otolaryngology, maxillofacial surgery, and ophthalmology. Pediatrics - Pediatrics

Clinical Neurophysiology 1 / 1 Clinical neurophysiology is a medical specialty that studies the central and peripheral nervous systems through the recording of bioelectrical activity, whether spontaneous or stimulated. It encompasses both research regarding the pathophysiology along with clinical methods used to diagnose neurologic diseases. Examinations in the clinical neurophysiology are considered an extension of the neurologic examination and include (but are not limited to) Electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies (NCS), Evoked potentials (EP), Electroencephalography (EEG), Polygraphic recordings, and, Polysomnography.
