Giuseppe Malleo, M.D., Ph.D is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Verona. His practice at the University of Verona Hospital Trust encompasses sugical oncology with special interest in pancreatic cancer, periampullary cancers, pancreatic cysts and neuroendocrine tumors. He has performed more than 850 pancreatic resections. Clinical and translational research activities are focused on pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and risk-assessment/benchmarking in pancreatic surgery. Prof. Malleo is author of more than 370 full-text papers in peer-reviewed journals, with a H-index of 73 (Google Scholar). He has been included in the World's Top 2% Scientists list by Stanford University/Elsevier. Professor Malleo he has been member of the Verona Ethical Committee since 2006.
