Learning outcomes

The course aims to offer students:
- knowledge and methods for developing relational skills declined in professional and aid relationships and educational relationships
- knowledge of the founding principles good communication, welfare relationship, techniques and strategies for managing effective communication with the person and family
Develop in students skills of:
- appropriate communication (verbal, non-verbal and written) with users of all ages and their families within the care process and/or with other health professionals;
- read interactions and relationships between patient and family and professional
-understanding relational dynamics, defensive reactions in the processes of adapting people to situations of mental, social and physical distress.

Assessment methods and criteria

The examination consists of a written test of multiple-choice questions on the fundamentals of communication and welfare report, short-answer questions DRAB, questions on correspondence, completion; analysis of a text of dialogue nurse – patient/family (recognize the techniques used by the nurse; the areas of the patient's agenda explored.
