Syllabus

ENDOCRINOLOGY TOPICS 1st year: basics of endocrinology, diabetes mellitus, hypoglycemia, obesity. 2nd year: dyslipidemia, hyperuricemia and gout, thyroid disease. 3rd year: alterations of mineral metabolism, diseases of the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, diseases of the adrenal gland, diseases of the gonads. 4th year: MEN, autoimmune polyendocrinopathies, gastrointestinal and carcinoid tumors, endocrine hypertension, pregnancy, puberty, menopause.

Assessment methods and criteria

The exam will be oral at the end of each year of the course
