Syllabus

Direct and indirect standardization.
Application of standardization and output analysis methods with STATA software.
The Poisson distribution.
Analysis of crude incidence and Poisson model in medicine: theory and application with STATA.
Analysis of incidence data using STATA commands.

Assessment methods and criteria

The final test is a written exam with short answer questions and resolution of exercises using the STATA software.
The aim of the test is to verify the knowledge of all the topics discussed.
The final evaluation is expressed in thirtieths.
