Acquisition of increasingly in-depth knowledge of Anatomy and Topographical Anatomy, relevant both for clinical examinations and for applications in surgical medicine. Demonstration of mastery of the clinical situation presented, of the ability to set up, plan, and follow, with constant personal involvement, the most appropriate diagnostic process to arrive at a correct diagnostic definition of the pathology and clinical assessment for the individual patient in the shortest possible time. Acquisition of knowledge of Pathological Anatomy and the related practical-application experience, necessary to define, based on the overall diagnostic assessment of the disease and the patient's condition, and on the final clinical assessment, the most appropriate type of treatment, medical and/or surgical, based on the risks, benefits, and results targeted to the individual patient's condition. Knowledge of anatomical-surgical and surgical medicine necessary to personally perform the practical execution of bloody therapeutic procedures, even in urgent and emergency settings. Ability to address and resolve issues related to the planning and management of the immediate postoperative period, and even more so, scheduled follow-up visits, including monitoring of clinical progress. Regarding surgical, orthopedic, and/or surgical skills, the trainee progresses with a gradual and progressive commitment to learning various surgical techniques, including minimally invasive ones.
