Learning outcomes

The course aims to introduce students to the basic concepts of surgical anatomy, surgical techniques of the main operable cardiopathies.
Analysis of the pathophysiological processes ia loading of the heart and large vessels, of clinical instrumental evaluation methods with particular reference to the angiographic and echocardiographic investigations, of the surgical options in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, both from a technical point of view and from stratification methods of operative risk.
