The course clarify what are the new therapeutic surgical and endovascular treatment of obstructive lesions of the carotid. It will be specified the use of different systems of revascularization (angioplasty, stenting, and bypass tromboendoarteriectomy) and the indications to use the cerebral protection during traditional and endovascular procedures. We will also examine the general guidelines to the treatment of patients with carotid lesions.
The direct participation in some of these interventions is in the operating room will complete the course.
