Master II in Methods and Techniques for Accident Prevention and Environmental Protection (interuniversity)

The professional will gain a wide range of technical and scientific as well as juridical and managerial skills needed to deal with issues related to environmental protection. This will be achieved by way of: - acquiring theoretical and scientific knowledge in a variety of disciplines involved in environmental protection; - carrying out procedures for checking, monitoring and inspecting the sources and factors of pollution affecting air, water and soil as well as noise pollution and electromagnetic pollution; - gaining knowledge about the flow of solid, liquid and gas waste; - applying methods of measuring pollutants and indicators of pollution present in the environment; - using statistical measures for controlling the quality of data and the validity of the procedures used; - organizing and managing regional systems of information for environmental and epidemiological monitoring in relation to environmental factors; - forecasting and elaborating climate information and radar meteorology.
