Overview

This Master, which lasts for 18 months, sets out to provide an adequate managerial background for nursing staff who wish to have a command of the growing complexity of the health systems, even when it is a question of single operative units for those aspects related to assistance. In particular the objectives of the master are: - to acquire a basic background in problem analysis and the theories of organization, in order to aid an approach method and provide a key to the interpretation of the health organization actual contexts; - to develop an ability to plan. manage, and assess nursing assistance in order to be able to improve the quality of work and meet the needs of the clients; - to acquire an ability to manage the health personnel, both to encourage individuals' positive attitudes and skills and to promote a culture of integration, of involvement and of taking responsibility for the results achieved; - to develop the ability to apply management models for managing quality in health organizations, in order to ensure quality work based on technical-scientific advances and client satisfaction levels. At the end of their studies the coordinators of nursing assistance must be able to carry out coordination work in health organizations and socio-assistance work of medium complexity.
