The Department Secretary's Office coordinates the administrative, accounting and financial work of the Department.
In particular, itdoes the paperwork related to:
accounting and financial management; credit control and recovery; the implementing of taxation, contribution and social security procedures; the budget arrangements in accordance with the laws and the patrimonial situation; the management of income (university financing for normal functioning, financing for scientific research from MURST and/or other Public and Private Bodies including the drawing up of contracts or conventions); the management of expenditure for normal functioning and maintenance, investments, equipment and furnishings as well as scientific research by placing orders with outside companies, drawing up freelance work contracts, paying additional staff, etc.); the support and management of practices concerning the institutional work of the Department's Director and collegiate bodies (Board and Council); it acts as intermediary between staff, the central university offices and other outside organizations, by means of supplying instructions and communications and also by updating the Website.
