Curriculum

The main research interests of Barbara Oliboni focus on:

  • Process-oriented Information Systems: modeling and managing business processes; representation and management of temporal aspects; conceptual modeling of data and processes.
  • Healthcare Information Systems: management of multimedia and temporal information; modeling and management of temporal aspects in clinical data; visualization and exploration of clinical data.
  • Modeling and management of Semi-structured Data: conceptual modeling of XML documents; modeling of semi-structured data with particular attention to temporal aspects; versioning and evolution of XML documents.

Barbara Oliboni mostly publishes research papers in international conferences and journals in the field of Information Systems and Medical Informatics.
