Learning outcomes

The course aims to address the most common osteo-articular pathologies in developmental age. In particular, it will address the diagnostic-therapeutic pathways of congenital deformities in newborn, osteo-articular infections in pediatric population and segmental paramorphisms.


The following topics will be discussed:

1-The congenital clubfoot: with the possibility to attend the clinic and participate in the packaging of corrective plasters in infants (on Monday at Orthopaedic and Traumatology Clinic).
2-Congenital hip dysplasia: with the possibility of attending the clinic and observing in clinical practice the application of retractors and the execution of hip ultrasound in the newborn according to Graf (on Monday at the Orthopaedics and Traumatology Clinic).
3-The flexible flat foot in developmental age
4-Osteo-articular infections
5-Vertebral pain in the child
6-Suprondylar Fractures

Classes will take place on Tuesday afternoon 4.45 pm in the Rosa classroom, 1st floor Polo Confortini (pink arrow atrium floor) with the following calendar:
Tuesday 10 March; March 17, March 24, March 31; April 7th ​​and April 21th.
