Learning outcomes

Deepen the topic of the care management of priority greeting problems for patients suffering from chronic diseases of the cardiovascular and respiratory system, in the acute and stable phase of the disease; discuss, integrate and apply the acquired knowledge, in the study of some care pathways and case exercises, selected according to the criteria of epidemiological relevance, exemplariness and complexity.

Syllabus

The course defines the principles of care in the management of acute and chronic priority problems of the patient suffering from pathology of the respiratory system (hypoxia, dyspnea, bronchial obstruction) and of the cardio-circulatory one (fluid imbalance, and intolerance to physical activity); the contents of this first part of the course will then be applied and contextualised in the assistance to the patient suffering from angina and IMA, heart failure, COPD.
