Learning outcomes

The course provides students with the basic knowledge about the implant in terms of biological and prosthetic function. The lectures allow to follow a course of study aimed at the theoretical and practical knowledge of the implantprosthetics made with immediate and delayed loading implants screwed or cemented on a single tooth, small bridges and rehabilitations.

• Principles of osseointegration
• Treatment plan for implant prosthetics: the distribution of the pillars and their finalization prosthetic implant
• The fixed prosthesis implant
• The bridges short and single crown supported by implants
• The interconnection systems-natural teeth
• The overdenture retained by implants
• Immediate loading
• The sequence of implementation implantoprosthetic: from the plant to the final restoration
• Techniques for detecting impression implantoprosthesis
• Detection Wax chewing
• The preparation of the implant abutments
• The temporary prosthesis implant
• The mergers of facilities and the permanent prosthesis

Practical exercises
Realization of systems mounted in plaster for the preparation of a single and multi-element dental supported implant: simulative clinical sequences with finalization of implants screwed or cemented
