Learning outcomes

Providing the necessary knowledge to organize implant therapy in patients with periodontal disease and to prevent and to treat the peri-implant injuries.


Syllabus

Anatomy and physiology of periodontal tissue.
Osseointegration
Epidemiology, etiology and microbiology of peri-implant pathology.
Peri-implant infections.
Occlusion trauma and peri-implant tissue.
Mucositis and peri-implantitis.
The examination of the patient with periodontal diseases.
The implant therapy in the patient with periodontal diseases.
The therapy of mucositis.
The treatment of peri-implant soft tissue.
The surgical therapy of the peri-implant injuries.
The periodontal supportive therapy.
