Syllabus

General principles of occupational medicine and health and safety prevention and promotion in workplaces. Occupational hazards and risks. Work related diseases and disorders. Occupational injuries. Legislation on health and safety at work. Risk assessment. Health surveillance. Occupational health clinic: occupational history collection, etiological diagnosis, medico-legal obligations.

Assessment methods and criteria

The examination is oral. The objective is to assess the attainment of the educational goals stated by the course. The exam might cover every item of the program.
