The course aims to introduce students to a reflection on the main ethical issues raised by the development of technology and the empirical sciences and to provide students with the basic conceptual tools to learn an argumentative method.
Overview of the origin of bioethics. Ethical pluralism and the definition of human being. Ethical committees. The most significant issues that have emerged from the changes in experience due to technology. Special attention will be paid to issues related to the beginning of life and to the end of life.
Evaluation and discussion of cases of clinical ethics.
