Understand the preventive measures that can reduce the risk and impact of neurodegenerative diseases, with particular attention to the role of physical activity in dementias and Parkinson's disease.
Through lectures and some laboratories this course will provide some bases related to neuro degeneration associated with brain functions and their evaluation. Indications will be provided on the natural development of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. Specific focuses will examine these neurodegenerative diseases from a neuroradiological and functional point of view, explaining how an active lifestyle and exercise can mitigate these neurodegenerative processes.
