Course organization
The course aims to teach the student to the Professional Oral Hygiene techniques with mechanical instrumentation .
Data collection for the medical record
Microbial plaque : film formation , maturation of plaque mineralization
Elements of the eziopathogenesis and classification of periodontal diseases : gingival lesions , periodontal lesion
Epidemiological indices : Indicators of inflammation of the gingival tissues , indexes of the etiological agents and oral hygiene procedures , indexes of lost periodontal tissue
Mechanical devices : ultrasonic and sonic , procedures and operating times
additional chemotherapy treatment of non-surgical mechanical therapy
