how ionizing ray are produced and the impact to the body
Knowledge on possible colalteral events related to extra exposure to the bosy
Determine which patient can not perform X ray or MRI exams
Imact of cost effectiveness in terms of biological cost of each exam
Radiation Dose of each type of exam.

Syllabus

This Course is of paramount interest of the Technician because of the direct contact to the patient when performing X rays of othe exams. Le knowledge of how ionizing rays interact to the body and the possible consequences are important to aquire competence when choosin the correct protocol to examine a Patient.
