Learning outcomes

The course aims to provide knowledge about the main fields of interest in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
It will be treated some of the most important topics of clinical practice focusing on their rehabilitation treatment.
Both neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation contexts will be examined.

Syllabus

Stroke:
- Functional recovery in motor and cognitive sensory dysfunctions
- Post-injury reorganization of the CNS
- Prognosis of post-lesional functional recovery
- Rehabilitation of dysphagia
Rehabilitation in Parkinson's Disease
Neurological and orthopedic walking dysfunctions
physical therapy
Management of scoliosis
