The elective course aims to the objective to give informations broad and up-to-date as much as possible on the interactions between immune system and cancer on one side and on new approaches of immune response modulation on the other side. In particular, the following topics will be treated: immunosurveillance and evasion of the immune response; tumor antigens; anti-tumor vaccines; adoptive cell transfer; immunomodulating monoclonal antibodies; tumor microenvironment and cells of the immune system
