The test takes place simultaneously in all Italian Universities, it consists of a written exam of 300 multi-choice questions on pre-clinical and clinical topics. The content of the test is the same for all students irrespective of the year of course. The aim is to verify the progress in knowledge during the course of study.
There is no a specific program, as the Progress Test is an evaluation that wants to test the knowledge acquired by students during the years. As matter of fact, the program is represented by teachings already followed by the students prior to the date of the test.
