Course organization
The main goal of the course is to develop/analyse the basics of the psychiatric rehabilitation starting from the first theoretical models, defining the methods and techniques applicable during the treatment defined for the daily operability.
The course aims to analyse the methods and techniques required to define/manage the rehabilitative intervention starting from the functional evaluation and defining the interventions necessary to treat a person with psychic diseases.
PROGRAM DETAILS:
1. Treatments in the Pre and post asylum/madhouse/mental hospital era in Europe;
2. Assessment clinic;
3. Structured and non structured evaluation;
4. Observation and interview;
5. Active techniques from the book “Tornare alla vita e alla normalita’”;
6. In-house visit;
7. The concept of “the group” as part of the rehabilitative technique;
8. Support for the patient’s family;
9. Empowerment and recovery.
