Learning outcomes

Exposing:
-Syntethic presentation of concepts about anatomy and physiology of the heart;
-The most common clinical syndromes of heart diseases;
-Physiopathologic correlates, clinical presentation and therapeutic options about heart failure ;
-Physiopathologic correlates, clinical presentation and therapeutic options about coronary heart disease;
-Physiopathologic correlates, clinical presentation and therapeutic options about arrhythmias and cardiac arrest;
-Cardiovascular risk factors: definition and prevention strategies;
-Cardiac rehabilitation.

Verifying comprehension of exposed concepts and discussing practical applications.

Assessment methods and criteria

The exam is organized by integrating specific contents with those related to other modules of the same course.
Five written questions with multiple answers (only one is correct) are proposed; an oral discussion, integrated with the other modules, conclude the examination.
