Course organization
Upon completion of this activity students will be able to:
-identify and diagnose alterations of glucose homeostasis (type 1 and type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes)
-know the main clinical characteristics of diabetes and the related acute and chronic complications
-have information about the treatment of diabetes particularly about new technology
-know the role of elderly on degenerative chronic diseases
