Learning outcomes

Aquire both theoretical and practical knowledge, accepted by the scientific community, related to the intensive treatment of ICU patients.

Syllabus

KD.
1. Antibiotic therapy: which dose for which patient; peculiarità situations (obese patient, chirrotic patient, RRT, ECM); approach to antibiotic resistances.
2. Mechanical ventilation: techniques of respiratori monitoring, alveolar recruitment and OLA, oesophageal pressure, NAVA.
3. Blood filtrato techniques (HD, CVVH, CVVDF, anti-cytokine-filters, antibiotic filters)
4. CA: Intensive management post-ROSC.
5. Sepsi and septic shock: new definitions and guidelines.
