Learning outcomes

Provide knowledge about anesthesia procedures in obstetrics and gynecology.

Syllabus

General anesthesia: modern techniques of general anesthesia in obstetrics and gynecology.
Complications of general anesthesia. Postoperative pain.
The pain: pathophysiology, pain pathways, glossary, classification. Treatment of pain: techniques, drugs. Indications, contraindications and complications.
Regional anesthesia: spinal and epidural anesthesia.

Written exam.
