Learning outcomes

Module: METODI E DIDATTICHE DELLE ATTIVITÀ SPORTIVE
Knowledge and skills to design, conduct and management of sport programs tailored, framed label and date system from bio-psycho-social model proposed by ICF.

Module: DIDATTICA E PEDAGOGIA SPECIALE
The ability to identify and modulate the motor actions most appropriate and effective, taking into account the operating conditions and relevant for individuals with various types of difficulties. Among them the trainee must be able not only to distinguish the various types of disability, so choose the most suitable mediators, but also to theoretically justify the choices.

Knowledge and skills for the design, conduct and management of programs for motor activities, within an ecological framework and system that sees integration as a primary goal of all interventions aimed at people with disabilities.

Syllabus

Module: METODI E DIDATTICHE DELLE ATTIVITÀ SPORTIVE
• historical notes about sports adapted Italy and the world;
• Sport adjusted Italy;
• from sports medicine to the functional classification of the athlete with a disability;
• types and characteristics of Paralympic sports for people with disabilities: physical, sensory;
• sports for people with intellectual disabilities and relational;
• sport as a leisure
• conducting exercises and planning of activities and sports adaptations aimed at people with disabilities in individual and collective contexts including schools;
• exercises with disabled athletes

• History on motor activities;
• Etiology and nosology of the most common types of physical and intellectual disabilities: mental retardation, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, reduced capacity disabling visual disorders.
• The bio-psycho-social approach of the ICF and motor activities;
• Autism as pervasive developmental disorder: characteristics of autistic cognition and educational consequences, the functional approach
• Issues related to the serious problem behaviors: the difference between managing and educating, functional analysis and intervention education.
• the drive motor learning in people with visual disabilities;
• socio-emotional empowerment as a tool to give motivation to be advocates for their own welfare

EXERCISES
• Experience with Motor and sensory deprivation
