Learning outcomes
Il corso introduce i principi metodologici della ricerca e la valutazione critica di evidenze presenti nella letteratura scientifica di interesse infermieristico. La valutazione critica è una fase importante nel processo di ricerca, sia per analizzare i risultati più importanti degli studi ma anche per identificare questioni non ancora esplorate. Rappresenta, inoltre, una base per la pratica infermieristica in quanto permette di evidenziare l’efficacia degli interventi assistenziali
Program
Al termine del corso lo studente deve essere in grado di:
• Identificare gli sviluppi della teoria del nursing e le correlazioni con le aree di indagine della ricerca infermieristica.
• Riflettere sui principi del nursing attraverso le evidenze di ricerca relative all’efficacia dei modelli assistenziali orientati alla “presa in carico dell’utente”, all’efficacia degli interventi educativi e di supporto e all’efficacia delle strategie per lo sviluppo dell’autocura da parte del paziente.
• Approfondire l’EBN (Evidence Based Nursing): caratteristiche e componenti, vantaggi e ostacoli alla sua applicazione; formulazione di un quesito rilevante per l’assistenza; fonti e criteri metodologici per la ricerca delle informazioni.
• Analizzare studi quantitativi e qualitativi di interesse infermieristico.
• Comprendere i metodi più utilizzati nella ricerca infermieristica quantitativa e qualitativa (osservazione, questionari, scale, interviste, storie di vita, incidenti critici e diari).
• Descrivere caratteristiche, opportunità e limiti delle linee guida nella pratica.
• Individuare istituzioni e fonti che producono linee guida di interesse infermieristico.
