Professional Master's programme in Forensic sciences (1° Livello)

The Program stems from the collaboration between the University of Verona and the Academy of Forensic Medical Science, London. It is based on teaching and learning from remote. The objectives are: i. to develop awareness of on-going and developing issues in the forensic medical sciences throughout the world; ii. to develop the student’s capacity to think, write and speak effectively and creatively in a forensic science context; iii. to assist the student to resolve complex forensic cases through a critical scientific approach. How to apply

Admission requirements :

Per accedere ai Master di primo livello occorre essere in possesso di:
a) laurea triennale conseguita ai sensi del Decreto Ministeriale n. 270 del 2004 o del Decreto Ministeriale n. 509 del 1999;
b) titolo di studio universitario di durata almeno triennale, secondo gli ordinamenti previgenti;
c) titolo rilasciato all’estero, riconosciuto idoneo in base alla normativa vigente.
Ambito: Chimica/farmacia, giuridico, medicina e chirurgia, professioni sanitarie, psicologia e scienze.
Ulteriori titoli: Per i candidati stranieri:
a) Bachelor of Science degree, or other biosciences or health studies degree with a minimum attainment of lower second class honours.
b) Basic medicine degree MD, MB ChB or equivalent.
c) Other related medical degrees including Dentistry and Veterinary science.
d) Law degree or equivalent vocational legal qualification or any other degree relevant to the study of the forensic medical sciences.
e) Individuals with substantial experience in forensic practice, although not having attained a relevant degree, may be admitted to the programme of study at the discretion of the University, in consultation with the Academic coordinator.
Gli studenti dovranno essere esperti nell'inglese scritto e parlato, esperienza che può essere dimostrata in uno dei seguenti modi:
- Completamento di studi in Istituzioni dove la lingua di istruzione è la lingua Inglese;
- TOEFL con votazione di almeno 550 (Paper-based Test), 213 (Computer-based Test), 79 (Internet-based Test);
- IELTS con punteggio 6.5 maggiore iv. IGCSE / GCSE con punteggio "C" o maggiore;
- Proficiency (Cambridge, Michigan).

Titoli: 60%,
Curriculum professionale 40%
La valutazione sarà basata sulla motivazione ad intraprendere il Master Program, sulle locali possibilità di integrare la formazione ottenuta nel corso con esperienze in sedi qualificate, ed anche in base alle locali possibilità di utilizzazione del titolo.
