This Master course is designed to provide a theoretical and practical training in endodoncy for specialists in this field interested in furthering their own studies in the field.
For this reason the course has been designed in such a way as to offer those taking part a highly specialized training in clinical and surgical endodoncy which will go hand in hand with further study of basic dentistry notions which are relevant to the field in question.
There will be lecturers from the Degree courses in dentistry from the University of Verona as well as lecturers from other Faculties and highly experienced self-employed consultants who will do additional work to be integrated into the theoretical work done. A great amount of the course will be dedicated to doing compulsory practical work in order to familiarize the course participants with endodontic techniques which are currently in use.
The specific objective of the course is to train highly professional Endodoncy specialists who are able to perform a whole series of operations ranging from the simplest to the most complex ones, which come about when there is a lot of work to be done on the teeth .In order to do this the course is organised so that the paractical part with work on patients is in the morning and the theoretical part is in the afternoon.
All together there will be a total of 320 hours per annum of traditional teaching and 320 hours of practical work with patients.
Attendance on the course is compulsory for 2 days a week ( 16 hours) during which practical work will be done in the mornings ( 9am to 1 pm.) practice will firstly be carried out on extracted teeth and will then be done in clinical work on patients, whilst the afternoon sessions ( 2 pm. to 6 pm.) are for didactic work, work experience, training, seminars, lectures and conventions.
