The main scientific interests of her research group are aimed to characterize:
· the phenotype and the immunoregulatory properties of mature and immature neutrophils from G-CSF-mobilized peripheral blood stem cell (PBSC);
· the role of mouse and human neutrophils in tumors. Particular interest has been directed at determining the mechanisms that regulate the immunoregulatory properties of these cells toward T lymphocytes;
. the role of mouse and human of myeloid cells, in particular monocytes and neutrophils, in autoimmune diseases, including lupus and psoriasis.
