Maria Grazia Romanelli received her Master of Sciences in Biology at the University of Verona and specialized her research competencies as a visiting researcher at the Department of molecular genetics and cell biology at the University of Chicago, Howard Hughes Medical Institute at the University of Pennsylvania and Department of Genetics at the University of Leicester
Research interests: cell biology and gene expression regulation focused on biomarkers characterization, the functional interaction between proteins and nucleic acids, viral oncology, development of cell models to study the molecular basis of cardiovascular, cancer and viral diseases.
