* The Degree Course Council is made up of all the Course teachers and does the work laid down in the University Regulations. Also participating at meetings are the training practice and guided apprenticeship Coordinators, one student representative, one apprenticeship tutor representative. DUTIES: From within the Degree Course Council a Presidency Council will be elected made up of a President, Coordinators, and at least two teacher representatives. The Degree Course Council can ask the Presidency Council to carry out some duties for the coordination of normal didactic activities. The Degree Course Council can delegate further duties with deliberative powers. The President of the Degree Course Council is backed by the collaboration of the pratical training activity and guided apprenticeship Coordinator, known as the the professional training activity Coordinator, and belonging to the same professional profile as the Degree in question. The professional training activity Coordinator is nominated for a three-year post by the Degree Course Council from among the teachers of the disciplinary scientific sector of the specific Degree Course and should be highly qualified both in the professional field and in training. The Coordinator is responsible for organising apprenticeships and their integration with the other training activities in cohesion with the didactic programme drawn up by the Degree Course Council.

  The TPC, having consulted the Course Coordinators and Teachers of the scientific-disciplinary sectors related to the disciplinary area of the class, has the following duties:
1. it identifies the training objectives of the "core curriculum" and attributes the related training credits on the basis of the total time required of the Students for carrying out the course; 2. it groups the training objectives into training courses that are suitable for the CCLS training aims; 3. it proposes, with the consent of the interested persons, adhesion to Professor and Researcher Courses taking account of the didactic necessities of the CCLS, the scientific-disciplinary sectors the teachers belong to, their inclinations and individual didactic load; 4. it plans, in agreement with the Teachers, the allocation of specific didactic duties to Professors and Researchers, with the aim of fulfilling the training objectives of each Course, guaranteeing at the same time, the training effectiveness and respect of individual skills; 5. it identifies, with the Teachers, the most suitable didactic methods for achieving each single didactic-training objective; 6. it organises the elective didactic activity options available and proposes that they be run,to the CCLS. Furthermore, the TPC:
discusses, with the teachers, the preparation methods for training and certified tests for assessinglearning, in cohesion with the pre-established training objectives;
organises permanent monitoring of all didactic activities with an assessment of the quality of the results, also by means of the evaluations officially expressed by the students;
promotes didactic training initiatives for the teachers; organises a permanent tutorship service for students in order to make their study progress easier.

* The Department Council is the body which directs and plans the Department's activities. It establishes the criteria for the use of those funds, means and tools which are available as well as the organisation of doctorate courses, congresses and seminars of interest to the Department. The Department Council carries out the following work: - it approves internal Regulations, the Department forecast budget, any possible changes during the year as well as the final account; - it applies to the University Board of Directors for facilities, staff and financial resources on the basis of the research activities being carried out or planned; - it decides in public selection proposals with other Departments for the establishment and functioning of Interdepartmental Centres, research and services, as well as with other universities; - it decides on requests to institutions for ordinary doctorate scholarships and also any other scholarship or research support assignment, for funds for research from public and private Bodies - it can delegate, if there is an absolute majority, specific duties to the Department Board.

* According to the Verona University Statute, ART. 29I1 Faculty Council. 1.The Faculty Council is made up of full and associate professors, research assistants and research assistant representatives until the number is complete to the ratio of one fifth full and assistant professors, a post-graduate technician representative, five student representatives in the Faculty with less than two thousand enrolments on Degree Courses and University Diploma Courses, raised to seven when enrolments exceed two thousand. The participation prodedures for the sittings and debates of the Faculty Council are governed by the university legislation norms. 2. The Faculty Council's duties are: a)the planning and coordination of all didactic activities and the allocation of didactic resources in accordance with the decisions of the Academic Senate and agreed by the Councils for Degree Courses or study lines and Diploma Course Councils and, for part of their duties, the Departments; b) the requests for new professors and researchers and the organisation of public selections for university positions or the transfers of professors and researchers, the appointing of professors, carried out on the basis of the principle of a restricted category council not inferior to the one being replaced and on agreement with the Departments concerned; c)the formulation of course proposals, on the basis of the documented didactic needs, for integrated courses, and, exceptionally, official teaching courses to be entrusted to highly qualified scientific scholars or experts or professionals on a private contract, which may be financed by university budget funds, or also by third parties; d)the preparation and approval of Faculty develoment plans as part of the plans for University development; e) the carrying out of all the other duties that the university legislation norms and this Statute demand of it. 3. The Faculty Council organises the carrying out of its own duties by means of the establishment of permanent Commissions, the members of which are elected from within the Council itself. The commissions are formed in such a way as to reflect the make up and the large disciplinary sectors of the Faculty. The Commissions elect a President from among full professors. The Commissions are renewed with the election of the Director. 4. The Faculty Regulations state: a) appointment procedures and the functioning norms of the Faculty Council; b)the make up, duties, attributions and work norms of the permanent Commission. 5. the election procedures of the researcher and assistant representatives up to the number allowed, of the post-graduate technician representative and student representatives are established by the general University Regulations. The law, in art. 95 DPR 382/80 regulates the activities: Board of Directors 1. Until the first ballot on the suitablity of assistant professors has been completed, the professor representatives and assistant representatives will continue to be part of the University Board of Directors. 2. On expiry of the Board of Directors term and on enforcement of this decree and not more than six months after its completion, the two professor representative and the assistant representative will be replaced by one full professor representative, one professor representative and one assistant professor representative. 3. In the University where, due to the completion of the first ballot, the categories of regular professors and full assistants have become less than 10 per cent of the consistency on entry into enforcement of this decree, the representatives of the categories below the 10 per cent will be replaced by the same number of assistant professors. Within six months of indictment of the second ballot on suitability, the two professor representatives and the assistant professor representative will be completely replaced by three assistant professors. 4.The assistants on the completion role are also entitled to elect these three professors. 5. Within six months of indictment of the first ballot on suitability of university researcher and in any case, not more than two months from its fulfilment, the University Board of Directors councils ca also be added to by one researcher representative. This representation is renewed and raised to two representatives six months after indictment of the second ballot. 6. On expiry of the Board of Directors term, after enforcement of this decree, the elective representation of non-teaching staff is increased from one to two.
