Professor Nicola Martinelli is a Medical Doctor, specialist in Internal Medicine, Physician Doctor in Clinical Proteomics. Since 2008 he carries out  regular research, teaching, and clinical activities at the University of Verona and at the related University Hospital. He is manager and chief analyst of “Verona Heart Study”. The most relevant part of research activity and scientific publications concerns cardiovascular disease and atherothrombosis with a specific interest for the genetic basis of ischemic heart disease, as well as for alterations in lipid metabolism and blood coagulation. Since 2014 present in the list of Top Italian Scientists – www.topitalianscientists.org
