Prof. Giovanni Battista Luciani has completed a residency in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery and a two-year Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery and Cardiothoracic Transplantation. Prof. Luciani is Head of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at the University Hospital Verona and of the Regional Referral Center for Congenital Heart Disease. His main areas of research include pathophysiology of congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension and aortic valve and root pathology.
