Curriculum

Rosanna Cima is a researcher in general and social pedagogy at the Department of Human Sciences.  Her main research interest is in making knowledge from experience in educational and care work in which professionals in educational and social-health services working with elderly people, adults and migrant families are engaged. The research approach is oriented by decolonial thinking, intersectionality, knowledge making together with the people working and using the socio-educational services.  How can knowledge that comes from the experience of women, men, children, beneficiaries of the services, interact with professional knowledge? What transformations of educational practices and devices can open up when such knowledge is placed in dialogue? How can educational contexts be seen, rethought and modified?
Her research topics are: decolonial educational approaches, accompanying pedagogical devices for women and families; the spiritual and religious dimension in migration; training processes in social, educational, health services; narration as self-care and professional contexts; the contribution of women in the construction of encounter practices.
