The student at the end of the course must possess the knowledge necessary to describe and identify the anatomopathological cadres of the main thyroid diseases;
must know the anatomy-clinical correlations and understand the pathological rationale for diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic evaluations.
The student must be able to evaluate the impact of any anatomopathological examination in the concrete clinical case to which it refers;
must be able to compile a request for the same cytological examination for complete thyroid disease of the data needed for the formulation of a diagnosis;
must be able to correctly interpret the information contained in the eastern cytology report to get precise directions for a decision.
